Summer’s heating up, and so is the action at W85th Rumble Boxing! Get ready to crush it with our Summer Survivor Challenge, an 8-week team-based showdown packed with sweat, silliness, and serious bragging rights. Whether you’re a Heavy Bag Class regular or a Stronger Program champ, this challenge is your chance to rack up points, bond with your crew, and have a blast while staying fit. Here’s everything you need to know to join the fun and lead your team to victory!


What’s the Summer Survivor Challenge?


Running from July 1 to August 25, 2025, the Summer Survivor Challenge is all about teamwork, consistency, and a little bit of wackiness. Team up with fellow members, earn points through classes, social posts, and epic style challenges, and compete for awesome prizes (think exclusive W85th gear, free sessions, and ultimate bragging rights!). The more you show up, bring friends, and get creative, the closer your team gets to being crowned Summer Survivors!


How to Earn Points


Your team scores points by crushing it in and out of the studio. Here’s how:

  • Class Attendance (2 Points): Show up and sweat! Every Heavy Bag Class, Circuit Programming session, or Stronger Program workout you attend earns 2 points. Consistency is key!

  • Fun Bonus (5 Points): Embrace the weekly Fun Bonus Theme and show up in style—backwards shirts, neon socks, or a cowboy hat. The crazier, the better! Check out the themes below.

  • Conversion to Membership (10 Points): Bring a friend who’s hooked and get them to sign up for a full-time membership (like our Unlimited Membership). Big points, big welcome to the W85th fam!

  • FT Friend Bonus (2 Points): Invite a buddy to join you in class—no membership needed. New faces, new vibes, 2 points!

  • Friend Bonus Purchased (5 Points): If your friend loves it and buys a class pack or drop-in, score 5 points for your team.

  • Group Bonus (10 Points): Rally three or more teammates for the same class to unlock a 10-point group bonus. Teamwork makes the sweat work!

  • Insta Post with Tag (2 Points): Share a sweaty selfie, your wild outfit, or a team moment on Instagram and tag @W85thRumbleBoxing. Show the world you’re surviving summer in style!


Weekly Fun Bonus Themes – Get Ready to Laugh!


Each week brings a new chance to earn 5 points by dressing up for our Fun Bonus Themes. Here’s the lineup:

  • Week 1: Backwards Day (July 1–7)


    Wear your shirt backwards, pants inside out, or swap your shoes. Time’s all mixed up, and so are you!

  • Week 2: Hat Trick (July 8–14)


    Rock a beanie, visor, cowboy hat, or even a shower cap. Bonus love for sparkly or oversized headgear!

  • Week 3: Twin Day (July 15–21)


    Match outfits with a teammate—cheesy T-shirts, coordinated colors, or full-on doppelgänger vibes.

  • Week 4: Costume Chaos (July 22–28)


    Be a superhero, banana, or gym grandma—dress as anything but yourself. The more ridiculous, the better!

  • Week 5: Throwback Week (July 29–Aug 4)


    Channel ‘80s aerobics, ‘90s grunge, or 2000s low-rise chaos. Pick your era and own it!

  • Week 6: Wild Shoes (Aug 5–11)


    Mismatched sneakers, Crocs, or cowboy boots—wear your loudest, weirdest footwear.

  • Week 7: Pajama Party (Aug 12–18)


    Roll in with PJs, a onesie, fuzzy slippers, or a sleep mask headband. Comfort is king!

  • Week 8: Neon Pop Party (Aug 19–25)


    Explode in neon, glitter, or glow sticks. Make everyone say “whoa!”

How to Sign Up


Ready to join the Summer Survivor Challenge? It’s easy:

  1. Sign Up by June 30, 2025: This can be done in person or over the phone with any of our staff members.

  2. Get Teamed Up: We’ll assign you to a team or let you pick your crew.

  3. Start Sweating: Kick off on July 1 with your first class and Fun Bonus Theme.
